Born and raised in Benghazi, Libya, BULIFA is a self-taught visual artist living and working full-time as a professional artist in Tunisia. After years as an art director, he was inspired by contemporary artists to begin painting in 2016. BULIFA experiments with new art methods, mainly using acrylic on canvas to create dynamic lines and bold colors, blending Arabic calligraphy with contemporary modern painting styles. . His artworks reflect a playful interplay between the physical and digital styles and how the two worlds combine. Experimenting with different mediums and developing new styles and techniques has helped him sell artworks worldwide and participate in exhibitions in North Africa and Europe. And having his first solo exhibition in March 2023 in Tunisia with a collection of 25 paintings.
